Very discreet, almost invisible from the outside, the synagogue of   P faffenhoffen was built during the troubled hours of the French Revolution. It is in fact a richly decorated community center where the synagogue occupies the first floor, the ground floor comprising kitchen, classroom and a curious cellar, (reste  of a mikweh ?). On the walls hang torah cloaks and ancient holy ark curtains.

Visit coupled with that of the popular image  museum . Guide by reservation all year round.
