The Grüsselhorn

The Grüsselhorn is said to be the replica of a shofar discovered by looters of Jewish homes after the pyre of 1349. Popular rumor accused the Jews of having wanted, using this horn, to communicate with the enemy, to betray the town. At nightfall, the Grüsselhorn orders the Jews from the top of the cathedral to leave the city.
