Conference by Simone Polak around her autobiographical book "Act as if I were always by your side" co-written with Muriel Klein – Zolty.

Originally from Saverne, where she spent her childhood, Simone Polak had to leave Alsace with her mother and brother in 1940 to take refuge in the Jura where they were arrested during the roundup of April 27, 1944 and then deported to Auschwitz.

The only survivor of this hell, at 90 she tells her story in her book “Act as if I were always by your side”, her mother's final recommendation in the car that took them to Birkenau.
